Any questions on your side?
This is what a weeksprint looks like:
- Start: You’ve uploaded documentation and are ready to go.
- Process: We process all documents and give you immediate feedback.
- Revise: You can upload additional information to answer our pending questions.
- End: At the end of the sprint, the project is either completed with a final report, or the project is automatically paused to give you the time to collect additional information at your own pace. A temporary report with restrictions is prepared for you, to be able to show to the NVWA e.g.
The first 4 sprints are included in this offer. We recommend that these take place consecutively in a block of 4 weeks.
In our experience with other clients, this is the most efficient way to familiarize yourself with the challenging requirements of cosmetics legislation.
Additional sprints can be added to the project at your own pace (normal charges apply), leaving you in full control of the project.
This flexible approach also gives you the ability to react quickly to changes (for example, if a product needs to be reformulated, or the label needs a makeover).
This allows the project to be paused after the first sprint, which will create time for you to adjust the project.
Instead of having to commit months or even years to a project, you can move at the speed of light. This doesn’t only quickly improve your go-to-market speed, but more importantly, lets your customers experience the safest products in the fastest way possible.
A microbial challenge test needs to be done to test whether the preservative added to the product actually works. Preservation is added to products that can spoil.
A product must have a long shelf life. The shelf life must be demonstrated with a stability test.
This test must be performed in the final packaging, so that it is clear that the product also remains stable on the shop shelves and the consumer’s bathroom cabinet.
Post launch, it may be necessary to adjust the product, for example based on consumer feedback.
Or if the cosmetics legislation changes, or when there are new scientific insights that can influence the compliance and safety of your product.
The Responsible Person is legally obliged to keep track of all these changes, and to adapt products and their files accordingly.
With Safety-as-a-Service, SkinConsult processes all these changes, to make sure your products and their files continue to comply with the law. And if there is a change in the cosmetics law, you will receive a signal and we’ll immediately help solve this preventively. This will allow you to continue selling your products with zero downtime. That’s what we call service.
We deal with this pragmatically. We make a separate file of all colors in a palette to make it easier for the NVWA to look at this.
Because a lot of information from the color palettes is the same – like many raw materials – we can reuse this data.
You don’t pay 12x a file, but just 1 file and a small surcharge per color. The notification in the CPNP can therefore also be limited to 1 (slightly more extensive) notification.
Cool that you’ve already thought about launching a portfolio of products!
Each product variant is regarded by law as a unique product and also requires its own notification in the CPNP.
Many tests, such as a shelf life test, also have to be redone.
Yet there is also a lot of room for efficiency and the reuse of information. We are happy to think along with you about how you want to bring this product line to the market, and we will draw up a tailor-made offer for you.
The more products, the more efficiently we can work!
For example, if you have all labels made by a designer at once, we can bundle a lot of information such as raw materials and packaging materials. A win-win situation. You will receive a custom quote for these types of assignments.
Are you unable to treat all products at once because, for example, you have to deal with seasonality? We can also agree on a fixed price per product, which will let us treat the products in phases.
